God’s Fork

“We proclaim Him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ. To this end I labor, struggling with all His energy, which so powerfully works in me.”
Colossians 1:29,29

“Lord, make me a CRISIS MAN. Let me not be a milepost on a single road, but make me a FORK, that men must turn one way or another in facing Christ in me.”

–Jim Elliot
Missionary  and Martyr

“Forgive me for being so ordinary while claiming to know so extraordinary a God.” – Jim Elliot
I had the privilege of knowing Jim Elliot well when I was a small boy.
May God bless you and your ministry for Him.

Thank you, Robert. I am greatly humbled, rest assured. I wish I had known the man but I’ve no doubt what we’ve read from his life and journals is the man who is among the myriad of “et ceteras” in the ever-expanding list in Hebrews 11–those who were pilgrims here, looking for the “great City” and living for its Lord.

Thank you, humbly, Robert, for your comment and for a new addition to my quote book! These are the cries of my heart. What a privilege to share this journey with you and those who’ve gone before…
